A standard waste shed requires a minimum distance of 8 meters from a building, but the VTT-tested Modul fire-safe model can be placed right next to a building's wall. This is possible due to A1-class fire protection boards, which effectively prevent heat increase and fire spread. Without fire protection boards, the minimum distance for the Modul waste shed from a building is 4 meters. When planning placement, always confirm the suitability of the location with the local fire inspector.
