Historic acquisition: Finbin becomes the market leader in the Nordics.
Finbin/Lehtovuori Oy has acquired the Swedish company Team Tejbrant AB. The acquisition doubles Finbin/Lehtovuori's revenue to approximately 30 million euros, increases its staff to 150 employees, and brings Lehtovuori new factories in Sweden and Poland, as well as a sales unit in Germany. More jobs are also expected in Ylöjärvi.
With this acquisition, we achieve market leadership in the Nordic countries for shelter solutions and strengthen our position as a leading provider of comprehensive urban furniture solutions.
Operations will expand significantly. After the acquisition, the Lehtovuori Group will include production facilities in Sweden and Poland, in addition to the Ylöjärvi factory and administration. There are wholly-owned subsidiaries in Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, and the United States.
– This is an important step in our growth from a supplier of urban furniture to a strategic partner for clients in building the entire urban landscape. It was wonderful that Team Tejbrant's owners chose us, another family business, to continue their life's work, instead of investment companies, says CEO Eero Ojanen.
Aluminum profile structures complement Finbin shelter solutions
The acquisition brings Finbin expertise in aluminum profile structures and its own production. This complements Finbin's strong expertise in steel structures and enables shelter solutions for an even wider range of applications and requirements.
Aluminum profile shelters are an increasingly important part of international infrastructure projects, and their demand is constantly growing.
The Swedish company Team Tejbrant AB has sold its bus stop shelters and various covered solutions to over 20 countries. The company has manufactured, for example, most of the bus stop shelters in Berlin, Stockholm, and Warsaw, and is a market leader in Sweden and Poland.
– In the future, we can offer shelter solutions for all needs. In addition, we will integrate smart waste bins and our cloud services into the shelter complexes, says Eero Ojanen.

Growth supports long-term partnership
Finbin has also grown purposefully in recent years. The acquisition enables even more stable and long-term development for our customers, both in Finland and internationally.
– When others are afraid, it's worth being brave. Our organization has been proactively developed for this move in recent years. Our operations will continue and strengthen in Finland as well: centralizing the group's headquarters in Ylöjärvi will create many new jobs in the near future.
Strengthening the group's headquarters in Ylöjärvi supports Finnish expertise, and at the same time, international presence improves our service capability, especially in the German and Central European markets.
