Edgy bus stop shelter – 4 modules

Edgy is a modular bus stop shelter designed for urban bus stops, tram stops, and travel centers where durability, safety, and a long service life are required. The solution combines a high-quality aluminum structure, safe glazing, and a design dimensioned for northern conditions.

Structurally designed for northern conditions

The shelter is designed for a snow load of 450 kg/m² and a wind load of 30 m/s. It is suitable for open and demanding weather conditions, where the reliability of the structure is a key selection criterion.

Safe and high-quality glazing solution

The walls are made of tempered glass, which effectively protects against wind and rain while maintaining an open view of the surroundings. The glazing is attached with a screwless click-lock system, which gives a finished look and facilitates maintenance. The structure is designed to withstand the stresses of a public environment.

Durable aluminum structure

The frame is made of HYDRO Circal or HYDRO Recycled 4.0 aluminum, which utilizes recycled aluminum. The material selection supports lower-carbon construction while maintaining structural strength, corrosion resistance, and recyclability. The frame is powder-coated in a chosen RAL color, allowing the shelter to be matched to the surrounding architecture.

Modular and quickly installable bus stop shelter, wide range of accessories

Edgy is built from 1400 mm module elements, and the length of the shelter can be implemented as a 2–6 module unit according to the needs of the site. The modular structure allows for different lengths as a cohesive structure. A wide range of accessories is available, such as lighting, green roofs, benches, info boards, waste bins, and drainage solutions.

The prefabricated structure supports smooth installation, and the shelter can be delivered as parts, fully assembled, or fully installed on the foundation. See delivery options below.

Delivery options

The shelter can be delivered in several different ways according to the needs of the site:

• Delivered in parts (roof structure as a ready-made unit)
  The shelter is delivered to the construction site for assembly. The roof structure is delivered as a pre-assembled unit, and electrical installations are pre-prepared.

• Pre-assembled without concrete foundation
  Allows for finishing of foundations on-site before installation. The shelter can be lifted into place by either a crane or a forklift.

• Pre-assembled and installed on a concrete foundation
  Delivered completely ready for installation. The concrete foundation has four lifting points (2 per side) to which lifting eyes can be attached for safe crane transfer.

In addition, the shelter can be equipped with longer foundation legs, allowing the foundations to be built below the finished ground level. This solution is particularly suitable for sites where the terrain is sloped.
